“Outreach Is Reaching Out!” United Christian Fellowship Church International (UCFCI) is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through the ministry of missions and outreach. This ministry strives to fulfill the Great Commission and win souls to Jesus Christ. UCFCI believes that faith along with works is the combination needed for the Kingdom of God to be effective in our community. Listed below are the outreach initiatives that are currently active in the community through UCFCI.

Rowan Helping Ministries UCFCI has a team of committed individuals who volunteer every fifth Sunday at Rowan Helping Ministries in Salisbury, NC. Volunteers prepare a hearty meal for shelter residents, assist with laundry, and offer prayer and words of encouragement. Through this outreach effort volunteers have witnessed people commit their lives to Christ and miraculous healings. Shelter residents and volunteers are always encouraged and strengthened during our visits. For more information please visit www.rowanhelpingministries.org.   Rowan One Church One Child Rowan One Church One Child is a partnership between the Rowan County Department of Social Services and Rowan County Churches. These two entities partner to provide homes for foster and adopted children, clothing, furniture and any additional need that may arise. UCFCI has partnered with this agency to provide backpacks and school supplies throughout the school year as well as any additional items they may need.   Backpack Giveaway and School Supply Outreach United Christian Fellowship Church International has partnered Salisbury High School and Rowan One Church One Child to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to students that demonstrate need throughout the school year. For the 2013-2014 school year our Outreach Ministry donated over 130 backpacks with school supplies to students in need. For the 2014-2015 school year we again donated over 130 backpacks with school supplies. In addition to our donations in August we seek out schools and agencies in which we can donate backpacks and school supplies year round. The Outreach Ministry is accepting donations of schools supplies as well as monetary donations so that students may continue to receive school supplies throughout the school year. You may contact Jyllian Vinson to coordinate a donation of school supplies. Monetary donations will be securely accepted by Paypal through our website giving link. Jyllian may be contacted via email at info@ucfci.org, or by phone at (704) 633-0893.
Nursing Home Outreach UCFCI conducts worship service every fourth Saturday at Genesis Eldercare Nursing Home in Salisbury, NC. Our visit includes words of encouragement from the Word of God, singing, and prayer. We give God the glory that residents and their families anticipate our services and leave uplifted.   Breakfast Club - Henderson Independent High School "Breakfast Club" is an opportunity to provide mentorship to a student enrolled at Henderson. Breakfast Club  is held twice a month for 30 minutes. Mentors and students have a chance to form positive relationships and gain exposure to adults making a difference in the Salisbury/Rowan Community.
